The element we know as water is really unique becaues it is the only natural element that is found on earth in all three physical states, of liquid, solid, and gas at the temperatures usually found here on Earth. This is at the level of the sea, but at 14,000ft it boils at 186°F and is very strange because as solid ice it is not as dense as it is in its liquid form, hence floating ice. This fact means that wherever water travels, whether it is through the ground or through our own bodies, it picks up and takes valuable chemicals, minerals, and nutrients with it. The most pure water will not conduct electrical current and only does when it begins to dissolve things around it. Something called surface tension is a trait of water meaning it is sticky and like elastic, and forms water droplets not a thin covering. This thing called surface tension is what causes capillary action which allows water to move through the roots of plants and through the tiny blood vessels in our bodies.
